My dear husband has been ill for many years with liver disease-Hepatitis C and than cancer. He has been on the transplant list for 5 years. This last Thursday morning he received a liver transplant which saved his life. He is recovering remarkably well and is already discharged from the hospital. Yeah! I am overwhelmed with exhaustion and with this amazing blessing. I can only hope and pray that the donor and family find peace in knowing a life was lost but at least one was also saved!!!!
I am away from home for at least the next month as we have to stay close to the hospital, but I have my laptop and hope to get back up to speed soon. I am finding that my online friends are every bit as supportive and understanding as my "real life" friends and I am very humbled and grateful!!!
