Warm Thoughts Mini

My sweet huny and I are celebrating our 36th Wedding Anniversary today! So, I made this mini yesterday to celebrate with all my digi world friends. Enjoy!!!

Can now be found at Secret City Treasures HERE
As a struggling new designer, I'm finding my biggest challenge is finding a consistent style. I've been going back and forth with what I like and what I think others will like. I'm is true in most things in life......gotta be true to myself. Gotta make things I like or it's too hard to be enthusiastic and definitely too hard to try to work with it as in making a layout or quick pages!!!! So, I'm sticking to a Southwest Heritage/Vintage Style. I love the warm colors, leather, metal, rusty, distressed and rustic look. With maybe an occasional sidetrack to something just quirky and fun LOL!
This may be my favorite creation to date and I hope you love it as much as I do.

CT Layouts

These two pages were made with SKrapper Digitals Black Label Classics Sandy available HERE

Famous Chocolate Story

A Dad's Hug

I was amazed at how many photos I found that would work with this kit!!! From sleepy babies to grandkids jumping on the bed (didn't let my girls do that LOL) I'm sure I'll be using this kit a lot. I chose the photos for the first layout cuz if you look reeeeal close-the stripes on baby Angela's shirt match the stripes on the button and mat. And for the second layout.....I've just been wanting to scrap these photos. I love the bg paper, the window, the angel..........well lol, I guess I just love this kit!

May 2010 Color Challenge at DSS

Here is a pretty little mini I made for the monthly color challenge at DSS. This challenge is hosted by Monika of Monika Designs.....her color palettes and starter kits make this such a fabulous challenge!!!!!

The theme was flower gardens, which I don't have much of one here in the desert LOL. So I had to think back to when I lived in the mountains and had a really big garden. I thought of the jays and squirrels that seemed to be my constant companions. So I included my old friends as well as a few flowers from my backyard. Hope you like it !!!!
